MY PROMISE TO YOU:
I will always treat you respectfully, recognizing that you are the expert at your business. I will not expect you to know the technical details of web design -- that's my business. And I will do my best to explain the technical details in language that a normal, intelligent person can understand, so you can make informed decisions about what's best for your business.

Design Your Web Site

A web site can be made with just about any look and content you like. Most of my clients come just with an idea that they want a web site. We work together through the following steps, starting wherever they are.

I like to start by thinking about how your site might look. If you have printed materials about your business, your site can be made to coordinate with them.

If you're starting fresh, begin by looking around the web for sites you like. Note the web addresses and what you like about them. Think about colors you like, and collect any pictures or drawings you might have that explain or represent your business. (If you already have a web site, changes can be made to work with existing material, or the whole site can be re-designed.)

Begin to think about what you want your web site to say. This is yor content. Will it explain your business to people who don't know anything about what you do, or will it be a way for your current customers to contact you? Will you want to register clients, sell products, or allow visitors to send you email right from your web site?

Once we know what the purpose of your site will be,
we can write text, put together a design,
and get you on the Web!
